Testing the water.

This was Rona first thing this morning 'testing the water' so to speak before she put a paw outside! What an abysmal day it has been.

Euan and Ali popped up for a couple of hours this morning so that fairly cheered us up. John made soup and baked 2 sponges which was great and then we took a run over to Culross but it got very windy and wet . Rona was having a lovely snooze in the back of the car so it would not have been fair to disturb her to go a walk! Besides JohnD tripped over and skint his shin trying to take a shot of two ships sailing on the Firth of Forth!

Hopefully after dinner tonight we will get out for a nice walk and stay dry.

ps ..must get Rona a colour coordinated coat for Christmas. This blue one belonged to Chloe , our last gorgeous wee spaniel who was a blue roan. Being mean canny Scots we thought it would do Rona! Think it is time she had her own!
