Intimidation never looked so cute
This isn't going to be the best write-up. I wrote it up, then blip decided not to publish it, so I've had to start over.
Another rough day for The Boyfriend and I, but we're now able to start to heal. And the special lunch of French Toast with strawberries, vanilla marscapone, maple syrup and cinnamon sugar he made for us was a great place to start. It was absolutely divine.
I was going to blip a photo of the deliciousness, but I decided to use this instead.
Master Four Year Old is a remedy for everything... Except exhaustion. He managed to make The Boyfriend and I laugh a lot today. The best two examples were demanding The Boyfriend get back in the kitchen in the "get in the kitchen and make me a sammich" tone, because his chocolate milk wasn't chocolate-y enough, and he wanted more French Toast.
The second was while The Boyfriend had my camera in Master Four Year Old's face taking some lovely photos. When this photo was taken, he was in the middle of telling The Boyfriend "you don't smile as much and it makes me sad. SMILE MORE, OR ELSE!!", in an intimidating tone, fist and all. But the thought, adoring eyes, and sweet smile kind of took the edge off the threat and intended intimidation.
"People should smile more.
I'm not saying there's nothing to cry for,
But you've got everything laid out for you.
Just close your eyes, take a deep breath..."
