Pump House

This building stands in the Eastgate, Beverley. I don't know anything about it but suppose it may have started life as a coaching house given the shape of the arch at the front. It looks as if at some stage during it's life it became a garage and the old pump has been beautifully restored. It looks like a private residence now but just why it would have a library decal on the glass I have no idea.

As I stood across the road to take the shop this lady came walking into shot holding on to her umbrella against the wind. Not sure why she had it up as you can see from the pavement it was perfectly dry.
