Makeshift Microphone
Music class started back again today after about a 7 or 8 week break. Elizabeth was so excited to be back! She was laughing her head off.
The lovely thing about it is that she has now got to the stage of being happy to sit and watch and copy the actions, rather than just running around the room. She was really engaged with the lesson.
At home, her new favourite thing is to build towers, so we spent most of the day playing with the mega bloks. She like it when we build chairs that her toys can sit in. I cannot wait until she's old enough for proper lego (so that I can play with it).
Elizabeth has started nodding her head as she's speaking. You can also see her concentration as she is thinking of the right words to piece together to say what she needs to say. It's fascinating to watch.
Monkey and dolly got taken out in the car with us today. It's a while since she's noticed her cuddly toys, after being rather obsessed with them a few months ago. They got lots of cuddles.
Still teething unfortunately, so we're still getting some grumpy behaviour at times. The teeth look like they're nearly through. I think she might have 4 coming through. I think it was this time last year that we ended up having 4 or 5 teeth all come through at once. No wonder it's been going on for so long.
