Worth a read

I thought this might be in poor taste, but there's a wee story here.

Everyone in Scotland over 50 is invited to have a bowel screen which consists of sending very small samples away in the post to Dundee for analysis.

I didn't really think too much about it until a routine test my Mum did highlighted early stage cancer, which in a very small period of time has been treated with day surgery, re-scanned and given the all clear.

So for all you you old dudes out there with a free opportunity to have the test, it might just save your life. It saved my Mum's
