Dark table table or light room?

Post-processed this in Darktable (ubuntu), but I can't find my way around it. Feels sluggish and annoying. But then again. I use Darktable on my laptop, and Lightroom on my much more powerfull desktop. That's not a fair contest.

Still, even on my laptop I'd still rather boot in windows and get Lightroom running. Anyone experience with Darktable?
