Magistrates Court

This is Brentford Magistrates Court one of two courts operating here. The other being a County Court. Originally though, this was the Market Square and the building was erected in the first half of the 19th century to house both the Market Company and also to act as Brentford Town Hall.

By 1850 there was a room being used as a court along with others to establish the first library and rooms to hire for local events and festivities.

I'm not sure how many festivities there are being held in the building now!
