Walking away

Maybe it's the windy weather, but it was a real challenge finding subjects to photograph today. I ended up wandering all the way down to the Scottish Parliament building, which was even more bereft of people than the Royal Mile. Fortunately, I saw this lady walking away and liked the lines and monochrome-icity (if there is such a word).

Later I did manage to get a portrait of this really friendly busker before the sun disappeared for the day.
