my eyes they cannot lie

but soft, what light...

...through yonder window breaks?

Bit of disappointing day, the house we went to look at was no good, no garden and no more space than we have now. I'm looking at another tomorrow but I am not holding out much hope.

The only suitable 2 three bed houses are a bit tricky, one is over £600 a month to rent and the other *only* wants tenants who are on housing benefit. Go figure! So I've emailed them to say that I can afford the rent, can pay a deposit and can move in quickly...but they seem to have quite a strict criteria.

But, on the bright side, it's not as if we are unhappy here - if nothing turns up we'll just have to manage with the bikes in the kitchen and no room to move or store all our bits from the old house for a bit longer.

Funny old week so far, not getting a lot of pleasure from the things that usually make me happy but am determined to bounce myself out of this mood.

Evie was fascinated by the sunbeams through the door this morning - we used to say they were stairs to heaven when I was little.

So I blipped it and I know she will want to see the photo.

Hoping for some beams to shine on me and bring me some luck for the rest of the week now!

But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief
That thou, her maid, art far more fair than she

Romeo And Juliet Act 2, scene 2, 2?6

My friend Angie got married today to her Romeo Phil and there has been a bit of 'Romeo' talk tonight...all good.
