The John Lennon front garden management method
Each year I leave it longer and longer before I cut the grass in the front garden.
I'm all for the natural look.
I have always thought that there was something slightly disturbing about an immaculately manicured lawn. Something clinical, something sterile.
And also week-ends were designed to take a rest.
So I have found the perfect front garden management method:
I drop John Lennon's head in the grass and if the rimmed glasses are still above the wild vegetation, I go back to my desk chair, make myself another cup of tea and watch the grass grow.
