....and that's it. Just a record of something that happened today.

BT came to replace a rotten telegraph pole in our garden today and while they were here we mentioned that a tree we had, was dangerously close to the phone and power lines and in danger of pulling them all down in high winds.

We could cut the tree down ourselves but not without the phone lines being moved out of the way first. I had previously rung BT only to be told it would cost us hundreds of pounds for them to come out and do this!

So while they were here anyway with their equipment, we mentioned it and they cut the tree down for us. No charge. No problem.

There really are some lovely people out there... :) XxX

BT are therefore in my good books (for how long remains to be seen)! ;-)
