Toilet Break

SWMBO and daughter werre doing the 'Race For Life' this morning..........a 5Km run for breast cancer charity. (Obviously they were doing it for our friend Fiona.

It was being held in the grounds of Hopetoun House at South Queensferry.

While they were doing all their registering, warm up and run I had a wander round the grounds taking some snaps.

I found all these toilet bits in one of the old buildings in the grounds. I liked the fact that one of the buildings had been not locked.

In one of the open sheds it would appear that the stone mason just walked away - barefooted.

I have been to Hopetoun before but never noticed the statue of Salome before. (I had to set up the flashgun behind the statue to try and get some seperation fom the background).

There were loads of lovely new leaves to try and shhot in the grounds.

After the run we had to fight through Edinbrugh to get to Meadowbank to see the master silversmith who is making the tiara (amongst other things) for daughters wedding.

The man is a gem.
If you get the chance - go and see him and his work at the Pitenweem Arts Festival (James Brent Ward - 16 Mid Shore)
