Time to bring in the washing

Being at home all day is a new experience for me. I've always worked and this period of home stay is strange. I find the days less productive than when working in an office and tasks which I thought took moments seem to take all day.

Today it was washing, lots of it. After three loads, all on the line, I picked apples and plums for a crumble, walked Jess, tidied, cleaned, and prepared dinner. This took all day!

The day was lovely and windy, without a shower of rain for once. But the skies darkened this evening so the clothes will have to finish their drying in the utility room.
