The kips

I went for a run today, same route as tuesday. It was a very cool and hazy day copared to last week, and the pentlands were very quiet as a result.

I saw a sheep being chased by a jack russel, wandering around off its lead. The sheep got it's leg tangled in the wires of a fence in its panic to get away and when I got to it was lying with 3 legs in the air and one wrapped tightly between two wires - I thought it was dead cos it wasn't moving. It didn't take much to free it, but it couldn't have done it on it's own and the dogs owners were nowhere about. Fortunately two other folk caught the dog and phoned its owners. That was my excitement for the day.
