Early Windmills

Plenty wind for these ...sitting high above on top of the Lammermuir Hills - an area of (almost) unspoilt beauty.

I don't often see these from the bedroom window, but today, after all the wildness, there they were on the horizon - and very white in the early morning light.

...glad they stayed on their pivots in the recent gales...

I am about 30 miles from these - imagine the size and noise up close....
