Soccer Ball Floor?

Back-blip, number 1:

this is the floor of the lobby of one of my friends' apartment buildings, and I thought it was interesting because it looks like the patches on a soccer ball. Except, to make it round, the colored patches on a soccer ball are pentagons, not hexagons.
