In my element!
Oh boy what a fantastic morning I have had. Mum took me back to the little secret beach and this time the waves were really little so I got to swim, swim, swim and swim some more!
It was FANTASTIC. To start with there was hardly any beach because the tide was right up but then it got bigger and bigger. The weather was beautiful and it was soooooo quiet and peaceful. Mum and I were both happy, me for the constant swimming and mum for the peace!
However.....the peace didn't last. Because it was a beautiful day a few people ventured down onto the secret beach. Mmmmmm for me this was VERY exciting. Luckily there weren't any other doggies so I didn't have to go on my lead but it was GREAT seeing other people. It has been 2 weeks since I have been off my lead around other people. I had forgotten just how exciting they are!
First of all there were 2 german people that I went and shook myself over *giggle* Luckily they laughed and threw my ball back in the sea for me.
Then there was a lovely couple who came with a camera and to do some beachcombing. I helped them......... ALOT! At first I wasn't sure about the man with a camera. Do you know he had a camera that went under the water! He went and was standing it on the edge of the little waves and was taking photos as they came in. I was quite fascinated and had to keep sticking my nose in. I couldn't understand why he didn't take my photo like everyone else does??!
Then a lady came down, she looked VERY exciting. She was dressed quite well and I couldn't help myself from jumping up at her. She WAS NOT impressed with me though. Apparently she had just washed the jacket she was wearing! I tried to give her my ball to throw but she wasn't having any of it. Mum kept calling me but I was bored with mum by now and really wanted to make the lady play with me.
She went and sat up on the top of a big rock to get away from me but I managed to climb it and get to her when mum turned her back for a second, hee hee!
Mum used the favourite saying "I'm sorry she is just a puppy" quite a few times this morning. Eventually the lady left...... Mum felt really bad and did tell me off quite a few times. I was sorry but I really really couldn't help myself. My tail and bum start wagging and I just can't stop it when it starts!!
When it was time to leave I threw a tantrum.....a BIG tantrum. I WAS NOT ready to leave. Mum put my lead on but I refused to move. The lovely lady and man who was taking photos were laughing at me a lot. Mum was getting more and more embarrassed. I wouldn't even move for a treat. Mum then gave up and sat down, she said we had been there for an hour and a half and if I didn't leave then, I wouldn't be coming back.
I thought I had better follow her then.......I want to come back EVERY day!
Bye for now
