THE PERKS OF PEDALLING

Now that we've reduced the household car ownership by 50 percent, I'm
finding my cycling legs again after a long break. I'm experimenting
with routes round town, and today came across Butterfly City (Burn
Valley Gardens, Kath)! I was spoilt for choice for blips. There were
dozens of red admirals, small tortoiseshells and large whites, and a
few speckled woods as well but after dithering for ages over the pics
I'd taken, I finally decided to blip this small tortoiseshell, since
he was posing so prettily and sparkling in the sunshine. He's rather
handsome up close and personal as well.
