A reflective day!
Today was nice, calm and reflective in many ways.
I had to go to Dunoon to collect some accordions and what better day to go on than one that is flat calm and shows off Argyll & Loch Fyne at its best.
Folks if you wish to visit here I suggest you come in the Autumn as the colours then are to die for, they havnt quite turned yet but slowly getting there as you can see from the above shot. This is the kind of picture you are glad you have a class camera to work with, having said that the shot from my wee GF1 was equally pleasing today.
Took the pup with me in the car because if I leave her at home with the other two I return to find my house wrecked and a chaotic house sets my teeth off.
I am tidy by nature but sometimes life gets in the way and hey ho what if the place isnt spick and span!
This morning I was listening to the Kaye Adams show on radio going on about women that can't leave the house without make up on so I texted them and said, "female in mid fifties, never worn make up in my entire life and no one has yet told me I am ugly"! So they phoned me and asked me to talk on the show and I did, seems that I am a bit of a rarity theses days! On my wedding day my pal made me put on nail polish but I scrapped it off when whe wasnt looking. I have never worn lip stick, that eye stuff or that foundation. Why do they call it foundation? reminds me of concrete does that.
Its whats on the inside that makes a person, not whats on the outside!
Well must go and take the accordions out of their cases to check they work and give them a wee clean up. Furnacelass where are you now? you could test them all by playing the Road to Dundee!
Have a good blip all
