Mining the past

Popped into the Prestongrange Heritage Museum late this afternoon. Although the visitor centre was closing, it was interesting to just wander round the place, looking at the old equipment and machinery they have there.

This, for example, is the Whitakers Patent Steam Crane Navvy.

They don't make product names like that any more.
