Geektacular!

I work with instruments called mass spectrometers which are very difficult to explain but detect and measure ionised molecules. And are, I am convinced sentient. Anyway, the part that I photographed previously, came from an instrument that uses something called an ion trap. My supervisor has been away for a few days at a meeting and brought this back, it is a bobble head doll of the man who developed ion trap technology! How cool is that?

It reads "Wolfgang Paul, Father of the Ion Trap". :-D

I am in geek heaven!
