Cyclamen

I saw this lovely swathe of cyclamen flowers as I went to get a sandwich from the local bakery at lunchtime. As I was admiring them a very dapper gentleman stopped to talk to me. He had noticed them too as he got off the bus and gave me a full briefing on how to grow them, how to get them to spread and naturalise and what the seed pod looked like.

I did notice one purple cyclamen flower in my garden at the weekend. No idea where it came from but it will be lovely if I have a carpet like this in a few years time.
