looking to the future...

Secondary school introduction evening tonight for my boy - only ten and only just in Year Six but the whole process for the next year starts off early.

Visited the school that he will go to (that his siblings already do) and he was so so in awe of it all. The bunsen burners, the design tech equipment, the computer programming, sports hall and the maths magic that they performed.

He is counting the days down now I think - although dragging me behind him as the parent who wants his childhood to slowly pass by!

Meanwhile on a such a glorious day, Sienna and I spent it indoors as she became ill last night with a really heavy cold virus. Poor little thing - up through the night not being able to breathe and consigned to the sofa today with no energy, and of course missing school. Hoping for a better day for her tomorrow.
