New Lanark

Work took me for a day-and-a-half to the World Heritage Site of New Lanark, one of my favourite places. Though the project to restore the village is not complete, the end is in site and a remarkable testimony to the determination of so many people. That my organisation has played a small part has been a privilege.

The sun shone on us for two days and made the visit all the more pleasureable.
