Some ^&%** Steamer trip that was.

On the 14th July we were on ''T'Lahl Ratty'' (Spelling optional). As a result of that trip we got a half price offer on the Ullswater Steamers.

So, today, on a whim, we set off. Considering the local sprogs are back in their assorted seats of learning and it's, virtually, mid-week we ought to have been able to find a park, no bother. Jest bloody jest. Har de har de har. There was not a slot to be found in either of the two parks.

Plan B ... Lets have a brew @ Aira Force cafe. We did, then the daft lass decided to haul off to the higher car park and wander down to the top of the falls. Top two photos in the link.

Duh?!? she's only got a pair of light sandals, steamer decks for the walking on. She manages it no bother I was fair chuffed.
