Graceful in the Wind

I wandered the dunes at Deception Pass Park in the early light. For me there is nothing as refreshing as sea air, dunes and the plants that live in this environment, with the sound of the surf just out of sight. Even though this is on the north end of Whidbey Island and so still Puget Sound, the surf and feel was quite coastal.

The rest of the drive home through Whidbey was not photographic, not because there are not many possibilities but because the shoulders on the road are narrow and wandering would definitely be trespassing. Good lesson for me. But a lovely two days nonetheless.
