Smooth & Flat

Last night just after midnight I took some photographs of both the Moon and the Portree pier. The ones of the moon were very poor and only fit for binning. I took five of the pier of which I thought this one was the best.

I shot it as a NEF image which is Nikon's name for a RAW file. I have processed it in photoshop elements 9 and then tweaked it in Topaz Laboratories adjust 4 creating this image.

It has created an image with hints of a painting. I wonder if it appeals to you.
