Penguin Maths

To help childrent to learn, as teachers we are told to teach in context, give them a reason to learn.
So the reason we are learning about triangular, square & cubed numbers is that...one day you might need to stack penguins!
This blip is an investigation into 3 penguins by 3 penguins by 3 penguins etc.
We did move on to working it out without cubes, 4x4x4... upto 10x10x10, looking at storing penguins in egg boxes next week!
