The Start

This was the sight that greeted me on my way to Taunton, prior to the worst bus journey of all time to the airport, where I had a pleasant but long (very, very long) journey to Singapore. Let's not focus on the lady sat next to me on the bus, who had an odour that managed to marry the more complex elements of mustard gas with fetid cheese.

Back to the photo though, and the Somerset landscape is something that is just spectacular and this valley is an area that amazes me everytime I drive by it on may way to work; on this morning there was thick mist rolling over the levels in the morning sun - stunning!

I love Somerset, but for the next 3 weeks it's all about Singapore!!
