After a big breakfast we headed off to the Reichstag dome, where the kids had fun as always, then on to the Bundespressestrand, a beach bar near the river where we sat for 6 straight ours drinking coffee, beer, and mojitos and ate sausages while the kids played with all the diggers/trucks/spades provided and got water out of the pond.

The kids didn't want to leave at 7pm and neither did we really - if only the music hadn't gotten loud at that point, we might have slept in the beach loungers. I guess it was time to hand the place over to all those party people who could stay on til the early morning hours...
