Gloomy Day

There was an oppressive atmosphere all day, the sky so gloomy it felt like it would fall on your head at any moment.

It finally broke just as I was returning home, but after the downpour only a little brightness, just in time for sun down.

The gloom has returned with the news from Wales has though. Our thoughts go out to the families of the four miners. To my coal mining brother: keep safe.
