A busy day

Thats what today has been and I'm shattered. I took the children straight from school (they finish at 2.30 on Fridays so I like to get them out and doing something after school on a friday) to a huge indoor playcentre that has a Battlezone next door. A and O absolutely love playing at soldiers for a while and couldn't wait to get there. They developed a taste for it while we were on holiday in Devon, The Big Sheep has an ace one that has 2 1/2 hour sessions for holiday kids. Their Dad took the other 3 into the playcentre while I took the 2 boys into Battlezone and they had a wonderful time killing each other...makes a change from trying to kill each other at home LOL
Then we gate crashed the others session next door and little J had me going up the steps, ducking under those infernal bars and going down the slide over and over again....if I hear him say 'Just one more time' again I may just scream.
It was a lovely evening.
Last thing I did was waved my 18 YO daughter off on her first proper holiday with her boyfriend. It made me feel quite old (I daresay she'd tell you I am quite old) but it's nice to see her so happy.
