We've had the full repertoire.....

....mud, midgies, pishing rain and a leaky tent necessitating evacuation to a hut for 3 scouts....but I think they are enjoying it. It had never dawned on me before, but now when we say, "lights out and quiet", they can still talk to each other via messaging on their phones.....I'm listening to 'message received' jingles ringing every so often and hilarity. Life was simpler at camp in my day.

It was bound to happen eventually, but I bumped into anth at work today. What a thoroughly nice bloke and our snatched conversation covered most of my favourite things.
