Glasshouse Mountain
Busy day, with the most beautiful sunrise. A vibrant pink sun rising over the waterways of the coast, and I was in the car, on my way to running.
Long run done, and finally a trip to Brisbane and a well deserved hair cut. It has been about 2.5 months between trims and I was looking a bit shabby.
Heading home the sunset was spectacular, again vibrant red orange as it ducked down behind a smoke screen. Unfortunately I couldn't stop on the freeway for a shot. I decided to head in to the Glasshouse Mountains to try and get a photo, and went to the lookout. I have decided that "lookouts" are not good places for photos.
I must investigate the area better because the mountains are spectacular. This pic with the last remnants of light. For those who are interested the mountains are the cores of ancient volcanos. They were named by the aboriginals, but this is just one of the smaller ones poking up above the surrounding land.
