Went to Edinburgh to look at a flat. Very odd flat. Bedroom on one side of a corridor and everything else on the other side. Not so odd - except that the corridor leads to somebody elses flat. A public corridor right though the middle of your flat - that's not usual - is it?

Said hello to a couple of folk then back to the country. Stopped to take pictures of lapwings in flight but they took the pee wit instead. I WILL manage it. I saw them teasing rabbits and tormenting rooks - Didn't know they did such fun stuff.
The air was full of skylarks, curlews, oystercatchers, swallows all singing out their stuff.
Could live on birdsong.
