Escalator, Green Park underground station, London

We're heading for the Royal Ocean Racing Club in St James's and the engagement party of our good friend and yachtsman Philippe Falle and his bride-to-be Sophie O'Neill. There's nowhere much to look on escalators. There are the people passing by and there are the advertising awnings, but usually I look down at the escalator steps. I guess I have been enjoying escalator steps unconsciously for a long time now. As a kid I found the bit where they disappeared quite scary, trying to time the jump right. RORC has a very door and I wondered about featuring a picture of that since someone takes great pride every day, polishing its brasswork. Another time, perhaps.
