Harvest

Round at the church this morning as it is Harvest Festival tomorrow, to help with the filling of small posy jars that are delivered to the housebound, the sick & elderly and people in nursing homes after the service tomorrow. I am no flower arranger & thankfully the jars are quite small so think the ones I did look ok.
The jars are to the right covered with green, orange or lemon paper & look lovely when filled &~ not too big when someone is delivering them

This year all food donations are being delivered to The Lodging House Mission in Glasgow


We had a cup of tea, well 2 cups for me, one is not enough and it looked like quite a number of people brought along home baking

Sun now out & bits of blue appearing in the sky

Now to go to compost heap & empty the bags of bits & pieces brought back to help my garden grow next year
