Sunset, Cwmyoy

After an excursion to the National Cycle Museum in the morning, we travelled South via Hay on Wye (only bought two books - showed massive restraint! Also had one of the best ice creams of my life - elderflower sorbet. It completely works!) and the Llanthony Valley in the afternoon. Bit of a stressful journey as it was a single track road with high hedges so we couldn't see a thing! Managed to get to Llathony Priory unscathed, though. Beautiful old ruined abbey with fantastic views all around and a very peaceful, quite spiritual atmosphere.

Then we went on a bit of a wild goose chase trying to find St Martins Church at Cwmyoy - thought it was only accessible on foot only to find out two and half hours later that it was about 2 minutes away in the car! It didn't matter though as the church was charming - for its size, it's more crooked than the leaning tower of Pisa! We also saw this magnificent sunset, which seemed an appropriate last pic for the holiday.
