The Inner Monkey
One thing you can guarantee from me, if I take a camera to a wood, is a lot of fuzzy close ups of tree trunks. The very nature of woods means I can't stand back far enough to get much in the frame and the very impatience of my camerawork means I don't focus properly.
Anyway, so here's a close up of a bit of tree. Ta-dah...
We took dog and youngest - and youngest's inner monkey, to play with the trees and have a bit of non-artificially-stimulated time this morning. We found out a couple of days ago that youngest has been releasing her inner monkey at school and we're not impressed. So we're trying to show inner monkey who's boss and why inner monkey needs to listen and why youngest needs to control inner monkey more at certain times.
Youngest picked up a nice collection of autumn leaves, on the way home. She said the yellow one smelled of bananas.
Well. She would say that, wouldn't she?
