Turquoise Buddha

A horrible grey, rainy day here and I had to wait in for a phone-call from a company which never came. Still, I suppose it is better than having to stay at home on a beautiful day. And I did enjoy watching Ireland win over Australia in the world cup.

This is a carved head I bought in an antique shop in the Royal Mile in Edinburgh years ago. Isn't the expression peaceful?
