Seals II

The weather turned out much better than forecast today with the heavy showers not amounting to very much. I was surprised to find by mid afterno0n that the conditions were once again ideal for sailing and I couldn't resist the opportunity to get out on the sea again.

With the firm westerly breeze we decided to head south to see if the seals were hanging about 0n the rocks as they had been earlier in the week. This time the conditions were perfect for drifting past them within 10 metres of the rocks. The strange thing was they didn't seem bothered and although they kept their eyes on us, only one or two slipped into the water. As we approached them for the second time one of the ones in the water decided to put on a show for us and repeatedly jumped clean out the water. Never seen a seal do that before.

Our favourite was the cute one on the left who contorted his head to keep those big eyes on us but never once moved his body.
