Hidden gem

Walking through a housing estate built along a busy duel carriage way I happened across a small patch of grass with a delightful clump of wildflowers growing. The colours were so beautiful and one last poppy was resiliently weathering the strong winds and traffic fumes.

It was far too windy to take any purposeful shots and the ground was too soaking wet for me to get down on my belly for the angle I wanted. So I simply put my hand down among the blooms and snapped away hoping for the best whilst keeping one eye on Kai who was running in and our of the flowers
