St Mary's, Hampton.
Today's blips were all wrong for a variety of reasons but mainly because of solar flare on each photo. Need to work out the settings on my phone.
Anyway, this is St Mary's Church in Hampton, virtually at the southernmost point of Middlesex, and I was going to say probably the southernmost church in the county but the Thames is heading north-east here so Shepperton is further south and there must be a few churches there. The Thames is about 50 yards to the left of the church and Surrey is on the opposite bank.
This is the area to come if you are interested in houseboat living. There is an island in the centre that is lined with modern houseboat designs. In fact most of the architecture from here to Hampton Court is interesting. Houseboats, a Royal Palace, Swiss Chalet, Stable block, Georgian Houses. Queen Anne style.
It's London Open House weekend and on the banks of the Thames here is David Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare. Might try and get to some over the weekend but it looks like I'm going to be busy. I suspect there might be some interesting architectural blips from the London Blippers this weekend.
