Loss of a friend
Yesterday on Friday the 16th September 2011 we took our dog Max into the vets to have an x-ray on his leg. He had been limping for about a week and usually shook off a strain or muscle pull but this wasn't right an he was in a lot of pain.
He had developed a massive tumour.
We took the decision to not wake him up from the sedation.
We got Max from our local rescue centre. He had been a stray picked up in Ipswich. This small centre was a farm house with kennels attached. the lady who owned it used her home as a half-way-house for re-homing but she also had cats so Max, being a greyhound-x, was put in the Kennel. He was there for three months before we took him home. He has lived with us for three years and you could not ask for a more gentle, loving and peaceful member of our family.
You will be sorely missed.
