What was my highlight of the day?

Well, it could be the horizontal rain that caused half of the people in the grandstand we were in to simultaneously screech and comically run for safety in the middle of the seats.

Or, it could be the sprint to the car at the end of the day, complete with some impressive hurdling over fences, during a thunder and lightning storm.

But alas, my highlight of the day was falling down an open drain ... and then discovering that I was consequently only wearing one shoe. You'll be delighted to hear that I did manage to fish my poor shoe out of the thick mud that it was wedged into. I'm not sure that it will ever be the same again though. :o)
