Almost over the rainbow
First day out with my new camera. This shot was taken looking back from near the top of Jaggers Clough on the southern flank of Kinder. It's not my best picture of the day but the rainbow kind of makes it a special moment to share.
I'm hoping it won't be for several decades but one day I hope the cremated and ground up dust of my bones is scattered to the winds on Kinder plateau. I love the thought of forever being part of the landscape here. In the meantime it is a place I love to live and breathe in. Even when the aftermath of a nasty bug makes the scramble to the top more tiring than it really should be.
