Giraffe

I went to Blair Drummond today with Auntie Katie and Uncle Scott. Mum and Dad have gone to a wedding.

The Giraffe story

In the photo, Orla and her Uncle Scott are standing on a viewing platform, looking down into the giraffe enclosure. When they arrived, people were feeding branches to the giraffe (naughty!), that's why it's so close. Orla said hello to the giraffe, and as they walked away it stuck it's head under the fence and started to nibble her dress. Auntie Katie quickly extricated Orla from the giraffe, but she was very upset. She was wailing, "the giraffe's eaten my dress!". Auntie Katie tried to mollify her, saying "it's all better now, the giraffe's not eating your dress anymore." And Orla, never one to miss a trick, said "it's not better; ice cream will make it better." So ice cream was duly had!
