Sissinghurst

We took advantage of the break in the rain and visited Sissinghurst Castle. I'd been wanting to visit the gardens for ages and today being Heritage day it was the ideal opportunity as there would be no entrance fee.
It was nice to hang out,walk around the gardens and just be for a few hours. Elodie enjoyed feeling the flowers and letting them slip through her fingers. Although a few did loose there heads to her tight grip.
We were treated to bright sunshine, what a contrast to the rain we had on the journey there and the journey home.
A nice little family outing.
