Doors Open Day : Scottish Ballet, Tramway, Glasgow

A rare chance to see behind the scenes at the Scottish Ballet Headquarters. One of the costumes being created for Sleeping Beauty, to be performed at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow this Christmas. The tour included the dance studios -No3 is the large dance studio in Europe - the fitness suite, props and scenery, costume department and the ballet shoe store. I visited here two years ago just after it opened.

We also visited the Hidden Gardens, part of the Tramway, and then a short walk to the New Victoria Gardens. These allotments are rarely open to the public, and are open again tomorrow Sunday 18th. Well worth a visit.

I had to backblip yesterday's visit to Paisley Abbey as our internet connection has been down for about 36 hours. Still intermittent, not too impressed with Orange at the moment.
