Saw this anchor lying in the sand not far from a boat shed.

I have seen it there before so assume this is now it's resting place.

I wonder what places it visited and on what ships it sailed.

Did it see rough wild weather?

Did it hold fast and save a boat and the crew?

It looks very old and weather beaten.
